The key to creating a profitable legitimate Internet business is to find a niche! The Internet is growing by leaps and bounds. There are millions of pages about numerous topics. You need to find a topic that isn't covered very well by others, and yet there are many people searching for this information.

Once you have discovered your niche using Brainstorm It!, it would be wise to see how you will turn information into cash. There are many ways to profit in your niche. Still some niches are more profitable than others. You need to find the most profitable niche before you spend lots of time and money building your online business.

My Sudoku website is profitable, but it isn't the most profitable website on the Internet. There are better topics than Sudoku. I earn money in several ways. First I joined the Google® Adsense program. It is free to website owners. Google® loves websites with unique information on all subjects.

I get paid by Google® every time someone clicks an ad they provide. I just provide information on my website that people want. Brainstorm It! tells me what information I need to write about.

Legitimate Internet business owners also use affiliate programs to earn commissions referring people to products or services in their niche. It isn't hard to find affiliate programs that fit your niche if they exist.

You do need to see if there are programs available before starting your Internet business. If you don't want to use affiliate programs, then this isn't an issue.

Many successful people create their own products. There isn't any better niche than one where only you can supply the product or service. Write a downloadable eBook, software program, or video about your niche. It is easy to sell these digital products online 24/7. I sell two eBooks I wrote on Sudoku.

Want other people to help you sell your product? Start an affiliate program for your product. Companies like ClickBank®, e-Junkie™, RegNow®, and Commission Junction can help you start an affiliate program. Offer your affiliates a 50% commission and you will get many affiliates if you have a good product.

You can also earn money by referring people to other professionals or businesses for a finder's fee. Many profitable websites do this in the travel industry. Can you adapt it to your niche?

Create a Website About Your Niche Idea That Works

Every legitimate Internet business needs a website. The reasons are two fold. One, you need a website to provide information about your niche. Content is king on the web.

Reason two, you need an information rich website to attract free traffic from the search engines. Tools like Brainstorm It! help you find keywords that can bring visitors to your website.

It is easy to build a website today. You don't need to be a computer pro to build a legitimate Internet business. After all, it is "How To" information that people want! Even a grandmother can write about her favorite recipes. There is room for more cooking and baking websites.
