Real Estate Investment Seminars

Real estate investment seminars are a great way to learn about real estate investing, tax liens, landlording, and much more. Here is my recommendation for the best real estate seminars that are worth attending.

Creating Wealth Robert Allen Seminars

In the early 1980's, Robert Allen's "Nothing Down" was the first real estate investment seminar that I attended. As a beginning real estate investor, I found this seminar to be eye opening.

It opened a whole new way of acquiring real estate with nothing down. The seminar concentrated on 50 ways to buy real estate with 100% financing that were explained in great detail.

I also took Robert Allen's Creating Wealth seminar in 2003. This seminar, in addition to a session on Nothing Down, covered topics such as foreclosures, tax liens, private mortgage notes, and wholesaling.

This real estate investing seminar I would rate as very good, but expensive. I would avoid any up sells, that is additional services they try to sell you.

Tax Lien Seminars

The best real estate investment seminar on tax liens is by far John Lane's Tax Sale Workshop. He is the most authoritative person on the subject that I know.

For over 15 years John has been involved with tax lien sales. He has attended over 400 tax sales in 26 states. John was instrumental in getting one of the largest Wall Street firms involved in buying tax liens. This firm bought over 2,000,000 tax sale properties.

After leaving this Wall Street firm, John has been responsible for the purchase of an additional $75,000,000 of tax properties. John directed the purchase of over 77,000 tax liens.

John offers lists of tax sales from most states if not all at his website TaxSaleLists.com. He also has an online workshop that is a fraction of the price most tax lien seminars cost.

I highly recommend this workshop.
