Looking For Tax Lien Properties?
Your search for tax lien properties begins here. You know investing in real estate is the best wealth creating tool there is.
Many millionaires have made their money in real estate. Others have earned their money in a business enterprise, and then invested their extra cash in tax lien properties and other types of real estate. Your search for a tax property can begin at home. If you are lucky enough to live in a state that auctions tax lien certificates or tax deeds, you can begin your search by checking your local newspaper's legal section. In some large metropolitan areas, property tax notices are published in a special legal and business newspaper.
In Maricopa County, Arizona, the publication to check is the Arizona Business Gazette. The list of delinquent taxes on properties is published there. Each county will publish a list of tax delinquent properties somewhere. The county treasurer's office can give you the name of the publication in which it publishes the delinquent tax list. Some counties will also publish this information on the county's website. Check the National Association Of Counties' website at www.naco.org for more information about the counties you seek. You will be able to find the county treasurer and his or her email address and the location of the county facilities. My preferred way of finding what lien properties or tax deed properties that are coming up for auction can be found at John Lane's website www.TaxSaleLists.Com. John publishes a list of tax properties from most, if not every, state. You will need to purchase these for a nominal fee. It will save you lots of time. Sign up for his newsletter. When new lists are published, you will get prompt notice of them. You can also buy a CD list of tax delinquent properties from the county treasurer in some counties.
